Mercedes Ener-G-Force Concept

Mercedes Ener-G-Force Concept (2012)

Is it possible that the Mercedes-Benz G-Class will still be around in 2025? A cool design study from Mercedes-Benz demonstrates how the genes of the classic off-roader from 1979 may still assert themselves far into the future. It is based on the concept of a future police car developed for the Los Angeles Design Challenge.
The Los Angeles Design Challenge 2012 looks far ahead with a quest for the "Highway Patrol Vehicle 2025". Law enforcement will have to prepare for even more crowded roads with electronically monitored and guided traffic, a much larger population and changes in human behavior. People will still feel young and active even later in life. Outdoor activities will dominate leisure, as will the desire for freedom and adventure. The new times will also call for new police vehicles. They must be able to reach any place conceivable quickly and reliably - even far away from any pavement. And they must do so in an exceptionally environmentally friendly way using alternative energy sources. Enhanced green-car characteristics and off-road capabilities will be among the fundamental virtues of a police car in 2025.

KTM X-Bow R

KTM X-Bow R (2011)

The KTM X-Bow R has been completely revised and even if the new developments of the KTM X-Bow R are not obvious at first glance from its outward appearance, a lot of things have been changed around the carbon monocoque. The engineers did not restrict themselves to improvements to the engine. In fact there have been improvements in all other relevant components to ensure that an optimal performance can be achieved. And that is because the customers had clearly expressed their wishes that the super sports car that many of them want to take to the racing circuit weekend after weekend, should be even more extreme, even faster and even more powerful.
And what the customer wants is what KTM delivers. In 2011 the product range of the super sports car with the carbon monocoque includes the KTM X-Bow R, the most powerful version yet developed. The "R" is the result of concentrated further development of this spectacular lightweight sports car. In the rear of the "R" is a 300 hp 2.0 Liter TFSI engine from Audi with a maximum torque of 400 Nm and this ensures an unbelievable driving experience both on and off the racing circuit, because naturally the KTM X-Bow R is homologated for use on the road.

2013 Nissan GT-R

Nissan GT-R (2013)

Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. announced the launch of the 2013 model year Nissan GT-R, which goes on sale in Japan on November 19, 2012 at Nissan dealers nationwide.
The 2013 model year Nissan GT-R features enhancements throughout the vehicle for increased performance, improved ride and handling, and greater customization.
Already considered a legendary supercar, the 2013 GT-R received evolutionary design and engineering enhancements based on feedback acquired from competing in the 24-Hours of Nürburgring race earlier this year. Notable modifications of the 550PS 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine include improved response in both the mid- and upper-rpm rev range, increased body rigidity, and specification changes to the shock absorbers, springs and front stabilizer. As a result, the vehicle's overall performance is dramatically increased, high-speed stability improved and ride quality is more refined. Additionally, a Premium Edition version will be offered that features rich Semiarinin leather and custom-colored interior as fashionable interior package, further enhancing the sense of quality within the cabin.

Audi A6 Black Edition

The devil really is in the detail for Audi A6 Saloon and Avant and A7 Sportback models as a new Black Edition specification lends the acclaimed executive ranges a distinctly darker air. The three new Black Edition models combine their more emphatic styling with the most extensive equipment list in each range, and are priced in the UK from £35,010 OTR to £56,785 OTR.
Black Edition distinguishing features start from the ground up with rotor-design alloy wheels with a dark titanium finish and either a 20-inch diameter in the A6 Saloon and Avant or 21 inches in the A7 Sportback. These stunning wheels amply fill their arches in the A6 helped by lowered sports suspension which is a standard feature of the S line models on which the new specification is based, and in the A7 Sportback by further lowered S line sports suspension.
The darker side of all three models is also expressed externally by a black finish for the grille and number plate surrounds and the window frame strips, and by privacy glass extending from the B-pillar rearwards. Fittingly, the A6 Avant Black Edition is also equipped with black roof rails.
Inside, the scene is set by distinctive Piano Black inlays which complement the sports seats upholstered in black Valcona leather and the black headlining. In A6 and A6 Avant models, the already comprehensive S line equipment list is also expanded by a BOSE surround sound system, DAB digital radio and the Audi Music Interface (AMI) for iPod connection. The A7 Sportback Black Edition gains the BOSE upgrade, and already features DAB radio and AMI as standard from SE specification and above.
In the A6 models the foundation S line specification also brings features such as exclusive S line exterior and interior styling enhancements, satellite navigation, light and rain sensors, Xenon all-weather headlights and LED rear lights, the Audi drive select adaptive dynamics system, the Audi parking system plus and keyless go. On top of these, the A7 Sportback also includes extras such as powered tailgate operation, electrically adjustable front seats and a powered retractable rear spoiler.
Tour de Force
The new Black Edition specification is an ideal accompaniment to the formidable 3.0-litre BiTDI unit with its 313PS and 650Nm of torque, which is available in all three ranges. It combines exceptional performance that perfectly suits the more purposeful stance achieved by the Black Edition upgrade, but can also deliver a remarkable 44.1mpg according to the combined cycle test. In the A6 range Black Edition specification is also available in conjunction with all engines from the 177PS 2.0-litre TDI upwards, excluding S6 models, and with either front-wheel-drive or quattro all-wheel-drive. In the A7 Sportback, it can be enjoyed in all versions bar the front-wheel-drive 3.0-litre TDI 204PS and theS7 Sportback.

Renault Symbol

New Renault Symbol is being given its first public airing at the 2012 Istanbul Motor Show. The newcomer's upgraded, modern equipment specification and revised engine range ensure it has all the ingredients to make it a hit with customers in Renault's international markets.
"New Renault Symbol delivers a level of equipment normally associated with vehicles from the next segment up," notes Evrim Gouillou, Marketing Project Manager. "Its new design and attractive equipment package are the perfect answer to meet the demands of customers in Renault's international markets."
Modern styling
New Renault Symbol features Renault's new styling cues. As is the case with all the brand's new models, the front logo is larger and sits in a more prominent, upright position in the middle of a wide, black, chrome-trimmed grille strip.
A standard of comfort and technologies worthy of the next segment up
New Renault Symbol seats up to five adults in perfect comfort thanks to the availability of even more room for rear passengers.
In response to the needs of customers in Renault's international markets, New Renault Symbol comes with a more extensive equipment package, including (depending on version) the Renault Media Nav multimedia navigation system complete with a wide, seven-inch (18cm) touchscreen colour display. Meanwhile, USB and Bluetooth® connectivity enables occupants to enjoy music stored on portable players and to make or take telephone calls in total safety. The specification also includes cruise control with speed limiter, while modularity is enhanced by the 60/40-split folding rear bench seat.
A choice of more economical and more environmentally-respectful engines
New Renault Symbol's customers will be able to specify the new TCe 90 petrol engine. The fuel consumption of this 90-horsepower powerplant is just 5.3 litres/100km, equivalent to 122g of CO2/km. The list also includes the dCi 75 and dCi 90 diesel engines, the fuel consumption and CO2 emissions of which have come down to 3.9 litres/100km and 103g/km respectively.
Renault's hallmark quality
New Renault Symbol has been engineered for use by customers in Renault's international markets and comes with a three-year/100,000km warranty.
Following its unveiling at the 2012 Istanbul Motor Show, New Renault Symbol is scheduled to go on sale in Turkey at the beginning of 2013, before being released in Algeria and Tunisia.
